Why Choose Us to Match You
- A real human – our clinical director – is doing the matching, not an algorithm, administrator, or intern
- Seasoned clinicians across Philly neighborhoods and the surrounding suburbs
- Inclusive, affirming practice: racial and ethnic cultural competence; gender and sexuality diversity; transgender/non-binary affirming; kink and poly affirming
Why therapy matching works
Google can find therapists. It can’t find your best fit.
Most people get stuck because there are too many options, not enough real information, and no way to know what it will feel like to sit with a particular therapist. Your matching journey is a real conversation with our director, who has an intimate understanding of each therapist’s style and strengths.
How the Therapy Matching Process Works
Three simple steps to finding the right clinician for your journey.
Step 1: The Call
Book your free 15-minute call. You’ll meet with our director to share what you’re looking for and what you want to be different this time.
Step 2: The Match
Most matches happen during the call. We use your opinion and our director’s expertise to find the best match for your needs.
Step 3: The Start
Connect with your clinician within 2 to 5 days. Choose from in-person, virtual, or hybrid care options.

Who we help
Full Living offers psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and teens – including individual, couples, and family therapy.
People seek therapy for a plethora of issues. Struggles with moods, behaviors, confusion about self and life; pursuit of self-knowledge, commitment to self-care; relationships, grief, trauma, transitions, loss, intimacy, past and present; existential angst, self-esteem, burnout, all of it.
What people get from therapy is a container for what ails them, so they might contemplate how they want to approach this life. Therapists don’t have answers, but we absolutely know how to help you find yours.

Our therapists know one another, consult together, and are thoughtfully selected not just for their credentials, but for their style, presence, and ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships. Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 15-minute matching call really free?
Yes. The 15-minute matching call is completely free and designed to understand your needs, answer initial questions, and determine the best next steps for finding the right therapist. There’s no obligation to move forward.
How does the therapy matching process work?
You’ll start with a brief consult with our director, where you’ll share what you’re looking for, what you’ve tried before, and what feels most important right now. From there, we thoughtfully match you with a therapist whose experience, style, and approach align with your needs.
How quickly can I be matched with a therapist?
Matching timelines vary based on availability and your specific needs, but most people are matched within a few business days after their initial consult. We’ll be transparent about timing during your call so you know what to expect.
How much does therapy cost?
Therapy sessions at Full Living typically range from $120 to $280 per 50-minute session, depending on the therapist and type of care (individual, couples, or family therapy). Fees will be discussed clearly during your consult so there are no surprises. Learn more about our fees here.
Do you accept insurance?
Full Living does not contract directly with insurance companies. This allows us to protect client privacy and avoid sharing clinical details with insurers. If you’d like, we can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan.
Can I use my insurance to help pay for therapy?
Some clients choose to submit superbills to their insurance providers for partial reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so it’s best to check with your insurer about out-of-network mental health benefits.
Do you offer in-person therapy, virtual therapy, or both?
Both. Full Living offers in-person, virtual, and hybrid therapy options, depending on the therapist and location. Your preferences will be discussed during the matching process.
Can you match me for couples therapy or family therapy?
Yes. Full Living provides matching for individual, couples, and family therapy. The 15-minute matching call is the first step in identifying the right clinician for your relational needs.
What if I’m not sure what kind of therapy I need?
That’s very common. Many people come in unsure of where to start. The director-led consult helps clarify what kind of support may be most helpful and which therapist or approach might be the best fit.
Do you offer culturally competent and identity-affirming therapy?
Yes. Full Living is committed to inclusive, affirming care. Our therapists work with cultural humility and experience across identities, including race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, and diverse relationship structures. These considerations are thoughtfully included in the matching process.
Will someone talk with me about costs before I start?
Yes. Your free consult is a space to ask questions about fees, insurance options, and what ongoing therapy might look like before committing to next steps.
