Our learning objectives:
- Access types of clients, diagnosis, themes, clinical impasses, etc. that are well suited to KAP.
- Distinguish characteristics of ketamine that make it well suited to the therapeutic environment and separate it from the other available psychedelics.
- Develop familiarity with the various protocols for ketamine administration, options for locations, frequency, and pacing.
- Identify the concrete professional requirements to practice KAP and prepare oneself, practice, and clients for the work.
- Personalize your approach to assessing client candidacy, preparing the client for medicine treatments, supporting the client through the medicine session, and offering integration consistent with the therapist’s practice modality.
- Implement KAP in your practice legally and ethically including licensing considerations, malpractice liability coverage, materials for your practice including legal consent forms, screening tools, clinical note templates, journey session materials, ect.
